Lewis Carroll Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There

I wanted before the visit of the Tim Burton film Alice have read the book. Alice goes through a mirror and finds himself in a chess game. She herself is a farmer who is at the end of the queen. Alice meets Humpty Dumpty on here, which gives it an interpretation of the poem Jabberwocky, in general, there are many poems and word games.
I found it really confusing, but it is required reading.
